Community Update - Catapult Incidents.

Following a number of reports received over recent weeks regarding catapult-related incidents in Bethersden and the surrounding areas, the Neighbourhood Task Force (NTF) and local Beat Team have been conducting increased high-visibility patrols in both marked and unmarked vehicles.  These patrols are aimed at providing reassurance to the community, gathering information, and helping to prevent any further incidents.

We would encourage anyone who has information relating to these incidents, or who may have relevant CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage, to please report it to Kent Police.

If you witness an incident taking place, please report it at the time so that officers can respond appropriately and provide support where required. Timely reporting significantly increases our ability to investigate and take positive action.

We also ask residents to remain vigilant. If you see suspicious behaviour, individuals carrying catapults, or activity that appears unusual or out of place, please report it. By remaining alert and looking out for one another, the community can play a vital role in helping to identify those responsible, prevent further incidents, and keep Bethersden and the surrounding areas safe.
